Full time benefit eligible 9 month position.  Works on days that school is in session.
Compensation:  $15.38/hour

Position Purpose
-  Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the ISS Student Support Supervisor will assist in the overall health and safety of the individual and the school. The ISS Supervisor will work with students as part of the dicipline process and will serve an active role in monitoring the halls, engaging students before school, and communicating at all times with building administrators. Additional instructional support with content and curriculum will also be a primary function of the position.
Essential Functions
- Work with administrators to keep our school safe and welcoming for ALL students at HHS. 
-  Monitor students in the hallways, lunchroom, and other common areas as directed.
-  Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group learning and support while students are in your care. This will include monitoring student computers in the ISS room.
-  Ensures that student conduct conforms to the school's standards and school district policies and establishes and maintains expectations of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
-  Coordinates with other professional staff members, especially the HHS office staff and administrators, and participates in faculty/staff meetings as directed.

Equipment
-  Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone. ISS Supervisor will carry a 2-way radio at all times while at HHS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-  Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
-  Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
-  Ability to organize and coordinate work.
-  Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
-  Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth.
-  Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
-  Works in standard office and school building environments.
- The ISS Supervisor will walk throughout the day while monitoring students and the building.
Qualifications Profile 
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must have computer hardware and software knowledge and experience
- Must have self-confidence and maturity
- Must have ability to relate well with both students and adults
