Job Summary:
Coordinates the operations of all planned giving, capital campaign and endowment programs in the organization and works cooperatively with the appropriate staff on all programs and projects associated with them.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of the Planned Giving Program.
Develop and cultivate prospective donors for major gifts, capital campaigns, planned giving, endowment contributions and develop and foster positive relationships.
Work collaboratively with President and Director of Development on strategic planning and objective development.
Help establish performance measures, monitors results and helps evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's fund development program.
Keep informed of developments in philanthropy and fund development, as well as, maintain working knowledge of the current ID/DD service system.
Coordinate and administer Capital Campaign activities and work with associated committees on financial drives to carry out such campaigns.
Job Specifications:
Education - BA or BS degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Experience - Include but not limited to; fund development and donor procurement. Exceptional oral and written communication. Understanding of human services preferably in the ID/DD field.
Extent of physical effort required - Routine job requirements. Little if any behavior or other physical intervention.
