Position Description: This position reports to the Director of Career Services and the Director of Retention and Student Success and performs various administrative, business operations, and customer service duties according to established policies and procedures. This individual provides support for, and works collaboratively with the staff of Career Services and the staff of Retention and Student Success. The role involves professional interaction with both internal and external customers. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented; very organized; possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team; have excellent interpersonal skills; and have the ability to anticipate needs and proactively work with minimal supervision to address them.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalency and two years of office experience or two years of post-secondary education.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· More than two years of office experience
· Experience at an institution of higher education
· Proficient with Microsoft Office as evidenced by the application documents
· Strong written communication skills
· Experience in supervision
· Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn

Responsibilities:
· Manage the front desk and primary point of contact for the Career Services and Retention and Student Success offices
· Administer Workday processes for staff and student employees
· Assist directors in managing operating budgets
· Manage accounts payable and receivable including purchasing
· Manage human resource-related processes including hiring, payroll, and expense reimbursement
· Supervise/coordinate the student employee schedules, daily activities, assign tasks and provide feedback as necessary
· Assist with the management of the academic success and tutoring programs
· Manage Career Services and Retention and Student Success technology platforms
· Assist with coordination of Career Fairs and employer interviews
· Maintain Career Services and Retention and Student Success websites
· Provide administrative support to Career Services’ sponsored internship programs
· Assist with management of the Tailored for Tigers Clothing Closet
· Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers with questions related to student success
· Assist staff with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
· Arrange travel for staff
· Assist in strategic planning projects
