Position Description: The primary responsibility of this position is to review new freshman admission applications to the university while coordinating communication with applicants and other university units that include but are not limited to Scholarship Office, Testing Services, Admissions Office and individual academic advisors. This position also participates in new Freshmen Early Registration events and must possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team player.
Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with one year of experience in office, administrative, or academic/student support services. Appropriate college coursework training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree
· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Outstanding written communication skills
· Experience working in a university setting
· Experience in evaluating high school transcripts for coursework and grade point average
Appointment Date: The start date will be determined after acceptance of an offer and successful completion of a background check.

Salary: $13.09
Responsibilities:
· Review applications for admission to the university.
· Confirm applicants meet the Kansas Board of Regents qualified admissions standards.
· Inform applicants of admission status to the university.
· Review transcripts and standardized test scores for incoming freshmen.
· Maintain data integrity through the input and correction of data in the Admission database.
· Responsible for the Midwest Student Exchange Program
· Supervise at least one student employee.
