North Central Kansas Technical College, with campuses in Beloit and Hays, is seeking a VP of Finance and Operations. This position is primarily responsible for financial planning, implementation of appropriate business practices, and management of the Business Office, Maintenance, and IT departments. Position is located on the Beloit campus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in appropriate field of study and Masters or C.P.A. preferred
- Experience in accounting required
- Experience in post-secondary education preferred
- Management experience
- Governmental accounting procedures and financial reports knowledge
- Ability to plan and manage budgets and expenditures
- Human relations/public relations skills, effective communication orally and in writing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of staff
- Appraise President of developments pertaining to business affairs
- Serve as Negotiator for the Board of Trustees
- Develop the Annual Budget
- Provide development of, and oversight to the overall financial reporting and budgetary control systems
- Work with auditors
