Executive Director of Healthcare and Public Service Education

Barton Community College is seeking an Executive Director of Healthcare and Public Service Education. This 12-month full-time replacement position is responsible for overseeing the colleges Nursing, Adult Healthcare, Medical Laboratory Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Emergency Medical Services, Dietary Manager, Criminal Justice, BASICS and Adult Education Programs and associated personnel. The Executive Director is expected to demonstrate leadership that responds to workforce needs, promote quality student learning opportunities and ensure delivery of exceptional education. At a minimum, applicants must possess a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with additional college coursework and/or specialized certification. Professionalism, oral and written communication skills, team-building abilities and partner development experience are desired.  A background in Healthcare is helpful but not required.
