Purpose
Provides oversight and organization of campus visits, student testing, peer tutoring, and more. Key responsibilities include Campus Visits, Student Testing and Data Entry.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proven experience in student services
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Event planning experience
- Pre-employment background screening
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Occasional light to moderate lifting, less than 50lbs
- Required travel to the Hays campus
- Indoors, environmentally controlled
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
- Occasional stress due to deadlines and/or dealing with unpleasant or angry people
- Quiet work environment
Job Duties
Essential Functions
- Regular attendance and timeliness
- Provide high-quality customer service
- Schedule campus tours and registration for prospective students
- Give campus tours to prospective students and guests
- Schedule and facilitate student testing including but not limited to the following tests: CNA, CMA, Accuplacer, TEAS, etc
- Assist with student success workshops on an individual basis
- Answer and follow up on student questions and concerns
- Prepare mailings and event reminders
- Work in CAMS and Microsoft Outlook to complete tasks as needed
- Maintains confidentiality and accurate records
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Enrollment Management & the Dean of Student Success
Compensation
- 12 Month Position
- Compensation based on experience
