Systems Analyst

Barton Community College is seeking applications for a replacement Systems Analyst.  Role:  Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing end user technology.  This position is involved with supporting all application software and hardware for all college users.  Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the College. This position will provide evening and weekend incident support to ensure critical system availability. Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience. Education: A high school education or GED required. Completion of a job related specialized course of study at a business, trade school or college or an associate’s degree preferred. Review of completed application packets begins immediately.
