The Office of Project Management is searching for a Project Inspector. This position inspects a wide variety and types of construction projects to ensure compliance with legal requirements as well as approved plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
Duties include conducting routine and complex inspections of public improvements. This individual prepares detailed daily activity and progress reports, investigates and responds to citizen complaints, and prepares incoming and outgoing correspondence with engineers and contractors.
Essential
Must have a valid driver’s license & high school diploma. 2-4 years of related experience. Ability to operate computers & general office equipment. Ability to interpret & understand construction plans, written instructions, reports, proposals, and specifications.
Compensation
