Sizewise Manufacturing manufactures and delivers durable medical equipment throughout the continental U.S.  

We are actively seeking a Laser Technician for our Hays, KS site.

In this role you will: 

  • Work Monday-Friday; 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Ensure efficient production and accuracy; document and record information; maintain safety
  • Set up machines, materials, nests and programming per company standards
  • Safely and accurately operate machines to produce metal work pieces 
  • Repetitively lift and place metal blanks or work pieces into bins and boxes
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications 
  • Read work orders to determine specifications, materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances
  • Perform operator maintenance on machines 

Requirements:

  • Basic CAD and blueprint reading skills
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to become qualified to perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.
  • Ability to become a Certified Forklift Operator.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
