Front Office Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

This is a great opportunity for a highly professional, motivated individual looking for a full time (Monday-Friday) position.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a hardworking, friendly, team player with an upbeat attitude who has a passion for providing excellent customer service. Must be able to multi-task, have good computer and phone skills & LOVE patient care.  Past Medical or Spa reception/front office experience is preferred, but will train the right individual.

JOBS DESCRIPTION: The medical office receptionist serves patients by greeting them, scheduling appointments, maintaining records and accounts while ensuring the utmost respect to patient confidentiality and privacy. Ideal candidate must be friendly & outgoing with a customer service attitude in person and with phone skills. Ability to calmly handle stressful situations and must possess the ability to work with little supervision to complete assigned tasks. The below duties are expected of the office Receptionist staff, but are not all inclusive. Other tasks are expected as assigned by physicians & supervisors. 

 Medical Office Receptionist Job Duties: 

·         Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. 

·         Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. 

·         Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider or nursing staff of patient's arrival 

·         Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. 

·         Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. 

·         Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. 

·         Accepts and processes payments 

·         Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. 

·         Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. 

·         Processes all outgoing mail and ensures accurate delivery.  Distributes incoming mail to appropriate channels. 

·         Responsible for maintaining supply list and alerting office manager when we need to order/obtain more of a certain supply (includes office supplies and cleaning/disinfecting supplies) 

·         Cleans office Daily: (bathroom including toilet, trash collection, tidy up waiting room, breakroom, including dishes, vacuuming as needed. 

·      Maintains a clean, neat, and tidy workspace.
