MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Hays Parks Department is looking for a dependable Maintenance Worker to assist in providing maintenance to the golf course. Duties include manual labor, maintenance duties, fertilizing, chemical applications, grass seeding, landscaping, irrigation and more.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license required. Ability to work a schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime, especially in the growing months.
Exposure to hazardous chemicals, machinery, excessive noise and all types of weather conditions is expected. This position requires a CDL Class B and has a residency requirement of Ellis County within 6 months of employment.
Experience with turf management, irrigation systems and ability to operate a wide variety of equipment is preferred.
COMPENSATION
