Animal Control Officer

The City of Russell is seeking professional and community-oriented individuals for a full-time Animal Control Officer.

This position provides a vital service to our community through enforcement of City and State Laws pertaining to the care and maintenance of animals within the City of Russell.  The employee will be provided on-the-job training with opportunities for certification and continuing education. Applicants for this position must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. Experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must also establish residency in Russell County 6 months from hire date. Pre-employment drug screening and job placement assessment are required.
