Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital - Respiratory Care department is looking for a PRN Sleep Tech.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients during procedures.
· Calibrate sleep study equipment.
· Collect and analyze data to ensure accurate results.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation of sleep studies and patient interactions.
· Ensure a clean and safe environment in the sleep lab.
· Stay current with best practices in sleep medicine and technology.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or certification in Polysomnography, CRT, RRT, or has completed the Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program
· Current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) is preferred.
· Previous experience in a sleep lab or healthcare setting is a plus.
· Knowledge of sleep disorders and sleep study procedures.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
