POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be a part of the welding department as a Welder I. We are willing to train on the welding robots as needed.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role will be geared toward operating/programming the robots and ensuring good weld quality throughout the programs.
- Robots: Lincoln Electric Fab-Pak, Lincoln Electric Cobot, Lincoln Electric System 50.
- Ensures the quality of all welds by using and maintaining the proper equipment for each weld; examining work pieces for defects and measuring work piece with straightedge, tape measure, or template to ensure conformance with specifications; adhering to ISO and FDA regulations
- Work will be geared toward operating/programming the robots and ensuring good weld quality throughout the programs.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Programming/robotic machine experience is a bonus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Detail oriented
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Ability to become qualified to perform Lock‐Out/Tag‐Out procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 80% of day.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
