MARKETING MANAGER
The City of Hays is looking for a creative, energetic Marketing Manager for the Hays’ Convention & Visitors Bureau. This position leads marketing of tourism & leisure in order to attract visitors to the community & maximize return on investment. Responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, developing marketing strategies & assisting with the design of promotional materials. Traveling to represent the City of Hays at various events is required. Job offers contingent on pre-employment physical exam.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License & a related college degree or equivalent training with 3 – 5 years of experience is required. This employee must possess excellent organizational, promotional, verbal & written communication & cooperative skills. Graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office products experience is required. Residency requirement is a 40-minute response time.
Compensation & Benefits
