MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Hays’ Department of Water Resources is looking for a dependable Maintenance Worker to assist in providing street and alley maintenance including Concrete, Asphalt and Crack Sealing. Someone who can operate equipment and do minor construction projects. You will also maintain traffic signals and stormwater maintenance.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license required. The ideal candidate would have the working knowledge of general construction techniques, experience with concrete, construction and the ability to operate a wide variety of equipment. Exposure to hazardous chemicals, machinery, excessive noise and all types of weather conditions is expected. Strong communications & mechanical skills required. This position has a residency requirement of Ellis County within 6 months of employment.
Compensation
Pay Range: $17.87-$26.54/hour.
