Fort Hays State University is seeking applications for an Admissions Coordinator to lead digital recruiting efforts for the Office of Admissions. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for event coordination and promotion, supervision of Digital Recruiters, managing marketing and communication efforts, and leading digital efforts to support the University’s enrollment goals for on-campus, undergraduate students.  This individual will serve on the department leadership team and work in conjunction with the Director of Admissions to develop marketing and communication strategies for undergraduate recruitment campaigns. Qualified applicants must be passionate about higher education and provide dynamic strategies with a high level of enthusiasm and creativity.  Some evening and weekend work is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • ​Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience in Student Affairs or Marketing in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or six years of experience
  • Provide dynamic written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of FHSU’s academic programs and support services
  • Experience working in a university setting within a division of Student Affairs
  • Demonstrated ability to present to diverse groups

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as part of the department leadership team
  • Develop marketing & communication strategies for undergraduate recruitment campaigns, in conjunction with the Director of Admissions.
  • Manage the execution of the marketing & communication strategies for undergraduate recruitment campaigns via the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Lead a digital media team and train staff on social media, including supervision of the Digital Recruiter. 
  • Develop and manage print materials, promotional products, and digital content for events and recruiters.
  • Manage Admissions social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.)
  • Lead small teams to plan, promote, and execute major recruitment events.
  • Lead and manage project management system (Smartsheet) for print, event, digital, and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with University Marketing, academic departments, and other campus entities.
  • Produce content, messaging, photography, and video to support brand standards.
  • Maintain and update the Office of Admissions website using Cascade CMS.
  • Manage email, SMS, and chatbot campaigns via HubSpot, Mainstay, and Workday.
