The Scrub Technician assists the surgical team in the care of the patient in the operating room and preparing the room and patient for surgery. They will function as the scrub nurse during surgical procedures and assist in the transfer of patients to the post anesthesia recovery area and in the turnover of the operating room.
To be a qualified candidate for this position, you will need the following:
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
· On the job training provided.
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
