Rooks County Health Center is seeking a full-time Night Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our dedicated laboratory team. What You'll Do
As a member of our laboratory team, you will:
Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing.
Collect and process patient specimens, including phlebotomy.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform quality control on laboratory equipment.
Accurately analyze and report laboratory results while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Assist with blood bank, chemistry, hematology, and other routine laboratory procedures.
Prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
MLT or MT/MLS certification (or eligible under applicable CLIA requirements).
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Phlebotomy experience required.
Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
