$14.00 hourly starting wage for Paraprofessionals, with newly hired staff eligible for a $1000 Sign On Bonus! Hourly rate ranging from $14.00 to $16.40 based on experience and location.

Job Summary:
*Applicants are responsible for picking up individuals in Colby and driving them to Day Center in Atwood, then driving back to Colby at the end of the day (agency vehicle provided).
Provide classes teaching personal, social, recreational, and communication skills.
Research curriculum and community opportunities to enhance classroom experiences.
Assist individuals served in the development of personal, social, and communication skills. This is accomplished through group or individualized instruction conducted in the community and/or the developmental center. The treatment of individuals served with dignity and respect is a prime responsibility.
Daytime shifts available, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Full-Time availability in a family friendly atmosphere.
Job Specifications:
Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience - Prior personal or job related exposure to people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Extent of physical effort required - Routine job requirements.
All training will be paid for and provided by DSNWK.
Other Requirements:
-Valid driver's license.
-Desire to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
-Able to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
-Must complete shadow training upon employment.
