Sunflower, a generation and transmission cooperative serving Kansans, is hiring two Financial Analysts in. The preferred location is Hays, KS; however, we will consider other locations in the Sunflower region. Support the well-being of Sunflower by developing, analyzing, and maintaining financial forecasts and reports to provide information for decision making. Serve as a steward of the company’s financial resources and as a consultant for staff, management, and Members on financial matters. Provide guidance, mentoring, and expertise.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field and three years accounting and/or finance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Accounting and/or finance experience in electric utility industry is preferred.
- Experience with emphasis on database management, economic forecasting, integrated resource planning, tariff administration, and regulatory reporting is strongly preferred.
- Qualifications for a Senior Financial Analyst role include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field and five years accounting and/or finance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
