Barton Community College seeks applications for Residence Life Coordinator. This replacement, full-time 12-month position serves as a front-line contact for on-campus housing residents, and develops, coordinates, and implements residence life programming with oversight of all housing department processes. The Coordinator will be required to work regular daytime hours as well as some nights and weekends when not scheduled to be off. This position will also have rotationally scheduled “on call” responsibilities to address after-hours housing needs and emergencies. Collaboration with many other campus departments, particularly Campus Safety, is essential, as is the ability to work with a diverse population. This position involves living in campus housing. The Coordinator residence is a standalone building, separate from student dorms. It provides over 2000 square feet of living space (4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, storage room, washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher and oven/range), yard with privacy fence, basic cable service, and Wi-Fi. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree or completion of a specialized course of studies at a business or trade school with up to 6 months of similar or related experience, bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
