Rush County Memorial Hospital is looking for a Radiology Clerk

Requirements/Skills:

Multitasking skills
Good communication skills with patients
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to adapt to last minute changes
Work without constant management
Knowledge of Medical Terminology helpful but not mandatory
Understanding of insurance helpful but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

Scheduling exams
Filing X-ray reports
Complete prior-authorizations in a timely manner
Sending/Receiving faxes from outlying facilities
Preparing charts for outside imaging modalities
Communicating clearly with patients regarding scheduling and any preparations needed
Answer phones
Enter patient information into the EMS (Electronic Medical System)
May also be required to assist patients prepare for exams

Pay based on experience.
