Rooks County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. This position plays a vital role in providing high-quality perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented professional who is committed to patient safety, exceptional care, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow healthcare team members.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care throughout the surgical experience
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Current Kansas RN license
• Operating Room or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Must pass POET, physical, and drug screen
