High Plains Mental Health Center currently has a full time position opening available in our Hays Main Location, for an ACT Team Registered Nurse.
New employees will receive a $325 sign-on bonus following successful completion of their 90 day orientation period.

Qualifications: Current licensure by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. A minimum of one year of nursing experience in either psychiatric/mental health nursing or in physician office practice preferred.
Summary Description: The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team provides non-traditional community based mental health treatment to promote the recovery and community integration of adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use and/or serious co-occurring physical health conditions. The overall goal of the team is to reduce use of emergency rooms, inpatient hospital stays, and other harmful behaviors.
Applicants should possess a valid Kansas driver’s license and a good driving record with no alcohol related incidents within the last five years. Must also be able to successfully pass an intensive background check including KBI, DCF Child/Adult abuse check and a drug and alcohol screen.
