Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital - Environmental Services department is looking for a full-time Housekeeper.
Full-time position – 2 weekends per month & some holidays.
Monday through Friday
Shift 4:00am - 12:30pm
Position Overview
Cleans and maintains cleanliness of assigned areas of the Hospital, Long Term Care, and Clinic(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services department.
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and left in a neat and sanitary manner.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Assists visitors with directions whenever requested.
- Follows all infection control practices, including hand washing techniques, standard precautions, and isolation precautions.
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Uses and maintains equipment properly.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school graduate or equivalent.
