HESS Services, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Building Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing building systems and equipment.
- Review equipment manuals and track equipment repairs to establish and improve preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize impact of production. - Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to determine needed repairs and other materials to support production needs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations. Mentor team members.
Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance (manufacturing environment a plus) with -2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of building systems.
-Familiarity with logic controllers and high voltage systems is a plus.
-Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
-Knowledge of project management principles for planning and executing maintenance projects.
-Experience with industrial maintenance practices, including fabrication and welding.
