NCK Technical College is searching for an organized, enthusiastic, and student-oriented individual for the position of Food Service Director. This position provides management and supervision for all facets of the Food Service experience.
Qualifications include:
· 3+ Years of Food Service Management
· Experience in planning, cooking and serving meals
· Exemplary customer service skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong independent problem-solving skills
· Ability to use computer programs to complete job functions
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Hire, evaluate, motivate, monitor performance, schedule and supervise Food Service Team Members.
· Plan, prepare, present, and deliver all meals served within the institution.
· Maintain a sanitary work environment and conform to all local codes and policies regarding proper storage, handling and serving of food.
· Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, budgets, menus, etc.
· Order all food within budget guidelines and maintain accurate inventories of food on hand.
· Visit with students regularly to determine special likes and dislikes in order to make the food service program individually tailored as much as possible.
· Plan monotony breakers and events in the dining space to ensure positive experience within the dining service program for all customers.
· Work with public to ensure quality catering and dining experiences.
