The City of Hays is accepting applications for a Water Plant Operator for the Water Resources Department. Work hours are Midnight to Noon.
Responsibilities
The Water Plant Operator tests water samples and performs equipment repairs. This position operates and maintains the Water Treatment Plant and City Wells. In addition, this position reads, records, and repairs meters and gauges.
Essential
Must have a valid Driver’s License and High School Diploma or GED. Experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right person. Position requires ability to operate computers, mowers, tractors, hand tools, etc. General knowledge of mechanical skills and plumbing.
Compensation
