You’ll work alongside psychiatrists, ARNPs, and RNs while helping individuals manage medications, understand their treatment, access resources, and take an active role in their mental health care.

What You’ll Do:
· Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, ARNPs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to support patients receiving psychiatric care.
· Assist patients with obtaining medications through prescription assistance programs, savings programs, vouchers, samples, and other community resources.
· Provide medication education and help patients understand and follow their prescribed treatment plans.
· Monitor patients for symptom changes, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects and communicate concerns to medication providers.
· Coordinate prescription refills, prescription mailings, lab orders, and other medication-related needs as directed.
· Administer medication injections as assigned.
· Assist with medication boxes and other medication management needs.
· Coordinate patient assistance programs and manage medication samples, including receiving, organizing, stocking, and removing expired medications.
· Provide patients with educational materials and community resources.
· Assist with referrals and coordination between mental health providers, primary care providers, and other healthcare services.
· Assist with telemedicine services and coordinate care with community partners as needed.
· Review and communicate lab results to patients as directed and document appropriately.
· Coordinate and manage the Spravato® clinic, including observing patients during Spravato® administration and supporting safe, effective treatment.
· Maintain accurate, timely, and objective clinical documentation in accordance with Center policies and procedures.
· Maintain knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology through ongoing education and professional development.
· Build strong, supportive relationships with patients while working with individuals across the lifespan.

Qualifications:
· Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
· One year of nursing experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing or physician office practice preferred, but not required.
· Strong interest in behavioral health and a willingness to develop knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology.
· Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with psychiatrists, ARNPs, RNs, and other members of a multidisciplinary team.
· Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to accurately document patient care and follow through on patient needs.
· Comfortable using computers, electronic health records, software applications, and other office and clinical technology.
· Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, processes, treatments, and procedures.
· Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
