Rooks County Health Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate Specialty Clinic Nurse to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to patients receiving specialty services while supporting providers and coordinating patient care to ensure a positive experience. 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Providing direct patient care and assisting specialty providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures. 
  • Preparing equipment and administering prescribed medications and injections
  • Documenting patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Coordinating referrals, diagnostic testing, procedures, and follow-up care. 
  • Communicating with patients regarding questions, concerns, and provider instructions.
  • Educating patients and families about treatment plans and care instructions.
  • Collaborating with providers, medical assistants and other healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care. 

Qualifications: 
  • Current Kansas RN, LPN or CNA license
  • BLS/CPR Certification required
  • One year of medical experience in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication, organization, assessment, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, patient assessment, and clinical procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, respond appropriately to urgent situations and work effectively as part of a team.
