Position: Retail Associate / Online Sales
Type: Full Time Position
Salary/Pay: Starting at $15.00 an hour
Hours: Approx. 40 Hours Per Week
General Summary:
Our retail associates are responsible for the daily sales activities within the store. This is a customer-facing position, so previous customer service experience is preferred. Retail associates all work with customers to make interest payments and redeem pawned items.
Available work hours would be Monday-Saturday, 10a-6p.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep accurate records of inventory, pawns, and interest payments
- Day to day sales operations of the store
- Packing and shipping items sold online
- Listing items on eBay, Facebook, Gunbroker and Classified services daily
- Assisting customer with purchasing and pawning
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Experience with electronics, music equipment, tools, and firearms is a plus
- Desire to continually learn and grow, must be teachable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to calmly listen and explain terms to customers
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation
- Willingness to develop professionally
- Problem solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
Working Conditions / Requirements:
- Professional retail environment
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must be able to work some weekends
