Part-time, up to 29 hours a week, during the school year only; summers off
Hours are 7:30 am to -1 or 1:30 pm daily, Monday-Friday
5 sick/personal days available, no additional benefits
You will receive direction from and report to the classroom teacher
Duties include assisting the teacher with academic tasks and monitoring students during snack time, bathroom breaks, lunch, recess, and activities both inside and outside the classroom.
Experience with children is a must. Experience with physical & social-emotional needs is a must. A positive attitude, high energy, and good physical mobility are a must. The school day is fast-paced; you must be able to keep up, multitask, problem-solve, and pay attention to multiple children at once.
Must complete a Safe Environment Training and a background check to work around children
