Position Summary

  • Runs daily restock reports and replenishes stock; reports low inventory levels to buyers to prevent stock outages.
  • Corrects inventory discrepancies between inventory count & computer.
  • Maintains order and appearance of shelf inventory.
  • Assesses usage patterns of stock, and prevents overstock.
  • Reviews, and replenishes and delivers crash carts to pharmacy.
  • Receives, reviews, prioritizes and posts requisitions; pulls items from inventory to fill requisition; and delivers requisition or prepares for transport.
  • Verifies and documents incoming freight quantity; inspects freight for damage; reports shortages, inaccuracies or damage to buyers; reviews packing slip, purchase order and freight for accuracy; logs quantity into inventory software system; marks inventory with stock number; delivers, receives signature and logs specials order purchases; restock storeroom shelves; and files paperwork (purchase orders, packing slips and requisitions)
