Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Inputs materials, receives data, and does bin location updates and production information updates.
- Performs accurate cycle counts and logs incoming parts.
- Read and interpret production schedules. Work in conjunction with other departments to meet production deadlines.
- Investigate quantity discrepancies.
- Checks on continuing cycle counts.
- Updates negative on-hand quantities.
- Inspects tank heads and castings as needed.
- Maintains warehouse rack organization, loads and unloads steel bar sock, pipe, and plates per safety instructions.
- Performs kitting operations for special projects and maintains exception reports for parts. Generates a report to show the percentage complete for upcoming projects.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Secures tools, materials, and equipment at the end of the day.
- Regular attendance and timeliness
- Performs additional duties as needed.
- Heavy Data Entry (entering, receiving receipts and purchase orders)

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude, quality, and inventory control training preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to customers, coworkers, and management with the ability to provide public speaking and customer presentations as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as charts, procedure manuals and job instructions with basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to accurately read and record measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools, as well as read a tape measure.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to use department equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
