We are seeking an RN or LPN to join our team at Potter Plastic Surgery and Med Spa and the Allergy Clinic of Western Kansas. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual that has a passion for the aesthetic industry. Experience in a medical spa, day spa or cosmetic/plastic surgery setting is a plus but not necessary. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, friendly professional who possesses excellent customer service and patient relation skills. Our practice offers a mix of cosmetic and plastic/reconstructive surgery along with a full medical spa. Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Rooming patients – documenting and reviewing medical histories and chief complaints
· Provide answers to pre and post treatment questions during consultations
· Directly assisting with all aspects of care including, but not limited to: biopsies, excisions, cryo-therapy, sutures, general office visits, wound care, in office surgical procedures.
· Provide quality service and follow protocols at all times, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction
· Accurately and completely scribing all notes during visits and charting into the EMR in a timely manner
· Sterilizing instruments, maintaining a clean work environment
· Scheduling patients for procedures and appointments by working directly with patients and outside facilities
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Must have an active Kansas RN or LPN License
· BLS/CPR certified or obtain certification within 30 days of hire date
· Monday-Friday 7:50am-5:00pm (hour lunch break)
· Customer service skills and interpersonal skills are a must
· Must be efficient/meticulous and have attention to detail, multi-tasking
· Must consistently interact in a manner that is friendly, supportive, respectful and cooperative with coworkers, providers and patients
· Able to work/learn in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate may receive training on med spa services including but not limited to: Medical grade chemical peels (Glycolic, Lactic Acid, Jessner, and TCA), Micro-needling, Morpheus 8 treatments, Laser treatments, and administering cosmetic injectables (Botox, Dysport, Juvéderm, Restylane)
· Polished and professional appearance is a must.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Hourly, dependent on experience
Hiring Bonus: RN: $5000 ($1000 at signing, $2000 after 6 months & $2000 after 12 months)
Hiring Bonus: LPN: $3000 ($1000 at signing, $1000 after 6 months & $1000 after 12 months)
