High Plains Mental Health Center currently has an opening for a full-time Branch Office Support Staff at our Osborne Branch Office.

New employees will receive a $325 sign-on bonus following successful completion of their 90-day orientation period.

Salary: $16.93 per hour 
HOURS: Mondays; 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in modern office practices and procedures, or one year of experience performing comparable duties.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the use of technology including computers, various software applications, printers, scanners, telephones, etc
  • Must handle multi-line phone system, and data entry.
  • Must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, to include understanding and application of technology
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record with no alcohol related incidents within the last five years.
  • Must also be able to successfully pass an intensive background check including KBI

Major Responsibilities:
  • Serves as receptionist, greeting patients, families, and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Processes all phone calls according to office procedures.
  • Assists with new patient processing, including triage transferring and completion of initial paperwork with new patients.
  • Maintains and balances petty cash and bank account; prepares bank deposits and other related duties.
  • Performs all data entry of new patient information at their initial appointment prior to clinical staff seeing new patient.
  • Provides efficient organization of schedules and activities,
  • Follows direction from supervisor for coverage
