PART-TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Hays’ Stormwater Division is looking for a dependable year-round Part-Time Maintenance Worker. Duties include general maintenance duties, grounds maintenance, minor construction projects and assisting other divisions as needed.
Full time hours available during the growing months with part time hours during the winter. Flexible hours within general operation time which is Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm between Labor Day and Memorial Day and 7:00 am – 3:00 during the summer.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate would have a good work ethic, attitude, and the ability to learn quickly. Almost all time is spent outside so being able to handle all types of weather is also required.
Compensation
Starting wage: $15.26 – $18.24/hour. This is a KPERS covered position. Visit kpers.org for more information. Pay based on experience.
