Position: Fleet and Maintenance Technician 
Location: Hays, KS 
Pay: $20 per hour | $500 SIGN-ON BONUS! 
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person 
Schedule: typical hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What You’ll Do: 
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including painting, drywall patching, fixture replacement, furniture assembly, and minor repairs. 
· Assist with remodeling, renovation, and facility improvement projects. 
· Support preventative maintenance efforts across Center facilities and equipment. 
· Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, or security concerns. 
· Assist with groundskeeping, custodial duties, and facility upkeep as needed. 
· Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials between Center locations (Center vehicle provided). 
· Help with office relocations, workspace setups, and facility reconfigurations. 
· Support fleet operations through vehicle inspections, cleaning, transportation, maintenance scheduling, and recordkeeping. 
· Receive and organize deliveries and supplies. 
· Assist with event, meeting, and training room setup and teardown. 
· Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner. 
· Work collaboratively with contractors, vendors, and Center staff to support daily operations.

Qualifications: 
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
· Experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, automotive, or custodial work preferred. 
· Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair. 
· Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. 
· Ability to perform physical labor and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
· Basic computer and technology skills. 
· Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. 
· Valid driver's license with no substance-related incidents in the past 5 years; must be reasonably insurable. 
· Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
