Web Content Developer

Responsibilities:
  • Create custom content, websites, and applications based on the strategic needs of the university. 
  • Assist departmental and academic units with training, updates and maintenance of websites utilizing the FHSU Content Management System (Cascade). 
  • Provide troubleshooting and support to CMS publishers.
  • Create, edit, and maintain FHSU related content and websites outside of the CMS.
  • Analyze web governance reports and addressing issues involving quality assurance, accessibility, search engine optimization, usability and user analytics on the website.
  • Create graphical and photographic elements to be used on the FHSU website.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development or related plus at least one year of related experience.
  • Related experience must include: Web Applications, and programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, database management, UX, UI, and API's.
  • Experience also required in at least one of the following program languages:  PHP, C#, or Java.
