Library Assistant, Outreach Services

 Barton Community College is seeking a replacement Library Assistant, Outreach Services.  This position is responsible for implementing and promoting library services and programs to support students and faculty.  Expectations include: Experience creating flyers, posters, handouts and videos; maintaining knowledge of current print and electronic resources and technologies to provide efficient and effective service to students, staff and faculty; maintaining electronic resources including electronic devices; and maintaining internal and external communications regarding the available resources and services to the library. The work hours are: Sunday, 1 – 7 PM and Monday – Thursday, 11 AM – 8 PM. Required qualifications: two-year degree, Bachelor's degree preferred; two to five years of similar or related experience; and knowledge and experience with technology including computers, social networking websites and information databases.
