Rooks County Health Center (RCH) is seeking a motivated and compassionate
Patient Financial Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in helping patients understand their financial responsibilities while supporting the financial day to day operations within the Business Office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for patients regarding account balances, billing questions, payment plans, and financial assistance options
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Support front office and administrative functions as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous medical office, billing, or healthcare financial experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and computer skills
- Ability to prioritize duties and multitask
