The position involves administrative and general office support duties, as well as specialized tasks, assisting the departmental chair, faculty, and graduate program coordinators. Duties will include communication, marketing assignments, recruiting tasks, class scheduling, and data management. This position utilizes Microsoft Office and technology tools, including Adobe Express, social media, and other creative tools. A successful candidate needs to be able to take initiative, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently and as part of a team, possess strong communication skills, and be well-organized and detail-oriented.

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with two to three years of experience in an office or administrative setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and an ability to prioritize a variety of duties
  • Very detail-oriented and very organized
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and written language communication skills

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and tracks correspondence, spreadsheets, and documents related to schedules, marketing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Maintains all course management processes in Workday.
  • Develops and maintains systematic marketing and recruiting protocols specific to programs
  • Assists with program assessment and continuous improvement data collection, as needed
  • Communicates daily with students, faculty, staff, and administrators, sometimes regarding confidential matters.
  • Other duties as assigned by the department chair
