The City of Russell is seeking professional and community-oriented individuals for a full-time Certified Journeyman Lineman position.

This position includes the construction, repair, and maintenance of the City of Russell’s overhead and underground Electric Distribution and Transmission systems, which are vital to providing power to our community. Employees will be provided on-the-job training with opportunities for continuing education. Applicant is required to possess a journeyman certification. Applicant must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have a valid Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License within six months of employment. Applicants must also establish residency in the City of Russell 6 months from hire date. Pre-employment drug screening and job placement assessment are required.
