POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Work involves specialized and/or diverse administrative support work for the Degree Analyst unit. Duties include ensuring students meet undergraduate academic degree requirements, evaluating transferability and posting of courses and credits from other colleges and universities preparing degree summaries for undergraduate students, and advisors for prospective students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Two-year college or technical degree in a relevant field
· At least one year of experience working with audits, databases, or similar systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree
· More than one year of experience working with audits, databases or similar systems
· Excellent written communications skills
· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe PDF
· Excellent customer service skills
APPOINTMENT DATE: Start date to be determined after acceptance of an offer and completion of criminal background check.

SALARY: $15.75 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate, perform and assign, when necessary, prospective and enrolled student degree summaries for International Partnership student pool
· Evaluate prospective student course/credit transferability from other colleges and universities that include but are not limited to military service, regionally and non-regionally accredited institutions, and accelerated methods of course credit
· Coordinate communication for degree analyst unit for walk-in, phone and email service requests
· Assist in assigning tasks to student employees in Degree Summary unit
· Prepare degree summaries for degree-seeking undergraduate students that includes general education requirements, majors, minors, concentrations, etc.
· Review and confirm individual program of study and degree major and minor options have been met for graduation
· Assist with the planning of and participate in university commencement events
· Communicate in a timely fashion with students and coworkers in order provide service to all constituencies (e.g. students, advisors, faculty, department chairs)
· Perform duties of others in office that may be absent
· Establish and maintain a record, filling, or equivalency systems
· Consult with supervisor if necessary
