Rooks County Health Center is seeking an experienced and
motivated Registered Sonographer to join our Radiology
Department. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate
professional who works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
- Ensure image quality, accurate documentation, and proper patient identification.
- Review patient information and communicate pertinent findings to the radiologist.
- Follow infection prevention, privacy, and safety procedures.
- Maintain professional competency and contribute to a collaborative team
environment.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound training program.
- RDMS (AB/OBGYN)
- RVT (VT)
- RDCS (AE) a plus, although not required
- Experience performing general, vascular, OB, small parts, and other diagnostic
ultrasound examinations.
- Commitment to maintaining current credentials, continuing education, and
departmental standards
- Must be highly motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal
supervision.
