Overview:

Prepares CAD models, drawings and bill of materials for use with production personnel. 

 

Essential Functions: 

- Creates, modifies, and distributes CAD models, drawings and bill of materials. 

- Complete design projects and design changes with minimal guidance. 

- Measures parts/assemblies and recreates them in CAD. 

- Verifies production design files for compliance, accuracy and thoroughness prior to release for production. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 

- CAD certificate and/or at least 2+ years of related 

- Highly proficient with CAD and computer software. 

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as P&IDS, procedure manuals and job instructions. 

Physical Demand and Work Environment: 

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds for men or 30 pounds for women. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
