 Position Summary
Execute receptionist, clerical, planning, and organizing duties required by the assigned Directors and support staff.  Applicable applicants should have a High School Diploma, at leastOne year experience with word processing and development of spreadsheets required. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted. Starting Wage: $14.00/hour. 

Essential Functions
  1. Assist with incoming communications via telephone or personal visits, taking messages and assuring positive public relations for assigned program areas and DSNWK.
  2. Perform word processing for assigned staff.
  3. Schedule meetings for Programs and Services Directors and assemble meeting packets.
  4. Record minutes of departmental meetings for Program and Services Directors.
  5. Make room arrangements for departmental meetings to include set up and clean up.
  6. Assist Program and Services Directors with coordinating departmental activities and addressing routine inquiries as delegated.
  7. Train newly hired Residential Coordinators on Financial Reviews.
  8. Complete internal audits and reconciliation of persons served finances.
  9. Create nursing and Hays Supervised Living On-Call schedules for the Program and Services Directors Department.
  10. Assist with transportation and motel room accommodations for Program and Services Directors.
  11. Approve and sign all purchase requisitions up to $100.00
  12. Approve and sign all reimbursement vouchers up to $50.00
  13. Communicate, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the Food Bank including receiving deliveries, reports, ordering from Feed America, upkeep of freezers, etc. 
  14. If assigned, participation on an I-Team.
  15. Compile packets for nursing classes:  Medication Administration, Medication Administration Update, and Health Care Class. 
  16. Assist with ordering supplies for the programs and services department.
  17. Assist with professional licenses and insurance (Kid-Link, nursing). 

Other Responsibilities
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred, related post-secondary certification preferred.
Experience - One year related experience including word processing and development of spreadsheets required.  Related education as described may substitute for experience.
Extent of physical effort required:  Routine job requirements. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.

Comments:
Position may have other physical requirements for specific work sites, i.e. climbing stairs, extended periods of standing, etc.

Other Requirements:
Able to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
Valid driver's license.
